Google’s Algorithm didn’t believe these reviews, and deleted them.
In 2023, Google started using AI to detect and delete “fake and dishonest reviews”. Unfortunately, this has generated a lot of false positives. Many small businesses have lost their real reviews because of this.
We have lost enough that we’ve made a page for them.
Below are screenshots of the emails Google sent us when we first got those reviews. We appended the client’s gallery to each of them.
It is what it is. There is now at least a process to get deleted reviews back (which won’t work for these), but we will hopefully stop it from happening in the future.
